What we believe explained

We believe that full live comes through relationships.

Up: Life with God – connected through Jesus, coming to know God in an intimate way.

In: Life together – intentional relationships with people in community.

Out: Life on mission – doing your part to make the world a better place, a place more like heaven, but here.

We believe that full life comes when you take serious Jesus’ call to multiply yourself.

Jesus called us to pass on the faith through intentional relationships where you are leading others to find full life in Christ. We call this intentional relationship, discipleship.

We believe full life comes as we are formed by
and find our place in the Story of God, as taught in the Bible.

The grand story of God began with God and man experiencing full life together in relationship.  Man’s choice to try to find full life independently without God’s guidance created separation and constant heartbreak for those first humans and all who have followed. God has constantly pursued His people showing them the way to listen to Him and find full life, but we continually think we know better.

At the pinnacle of history, in AD33, God made a way for us to exist together in spite of our independence and rebellion when he sent Jesus to take away the penalty for our rebellion through his sacrificial death.  The world found new hope of full life through faith in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and the gift of connection with His Spirit.

God has gone to great lengths to preserve His Story through the writings of scripture. While the scriptures are difficult to understand at times, the storyline and teaching have proven to be the means through which God speaks and shapes people into their fullest life. He does this with the help of the Holy Spirit and the support of relationships of those who believe in Him, the church. Whilst this new organism of the church is meant to live like Jesus and reflect Him to others, we don’t always get it right.

We’re all on a journey to fully realise the restoration that was started through Jesus’ work on the cross. The Bible story tells us that one day, Jesus will return to this earth to restore things as we all know they were meant to be – without sin, shame, and brokenness – the completeness of full life once and for all. While we wait for that to happen – we get to walk with Jesus, taste full life in measures and help HIM extend the Kingdom (the culture of heaven) here!

If in reading this story, you’ve felt something fresh and new rise up in your heart — that’s Jesus’ invitation to come be a part of His story. Perhaps your ready to say “Yes” to Jesus today?

If something in your heart is stirred, please get and explore if you’d like to JOURNEY together in this walk toward full life through Jesus!
